We require all pets boarded to be in good health and current on all their vaccinations. Proof of up-to-date Rabies and Distemper Combination including the Parvo vaccine is required. Bordetella is required May 1 to October 1. You must bring these records with you or have your Vet fax them to us in advance. Pets must be vaccinate a minumum of 2 weeks prior to boarding date.

You are always charged the day you arrive with your pet. However, there is no charge for the day your pet leaves if he is picked up by 12:00 Noon. Sunday is the only exception since there are no morning hours. There is an extra full day charge for any pet brought in or picked up during hours the Kennel is closed. If this is a necessity, prior arrangements are required. During the holidays and from Memorial Day to Labor Day a two week advance reservation is necessary. Actually, booking 3 weeks in advance is preferred. Throughout the year, a 2-day minimum charge applies to all pets.

When you bring your pet in to board, you need to leave us a telephone number where you can be reached in the event we need to contact you. Also, the number of a friend or relative in the area is recommended. We will also ask you to sign a release that gives us permission to take your pet to a Vet if the need should arise.

We bathe all breeds of dogs and the rates depend on the condition of the coat, the pet’s behavior, and what the owner wants done. Both regular shampoos and flea treatments are available. However, should your pet become soiled while staying here, a bath is mandatory at the owner’s expense.

We also offer extra exercise programs. We offer property walks at $6.00 for a half hour, and playtime in an outside enclosed area at $6.00 for a half hour. Since we overlook the lovely South Park we offer park walks along the many paths at $15.00 per hour. These programs are in addition to your pet’s time in our outside runs.

We provide premium dry dog food, a variety of canned foods, and treats for both dogs and cats. Owners are welcome to bring their own food and treats; however there is no discount for this.

Rates are per day, based on the weight of your dog; 0-20 lbs. - $12, 21-59 lbs. - $14, 60-100 lbs. - $15, and over 100 lbs. $16. Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets, Birds are $6.00 per day. We offer Senior Citizen discounts and we accept Visa, Master Card and Discover.
